Join us for a family-friendly event filled with excitement as residents will be allowed to touch, climb, ask questions, and learn about their favorite vehicles in a safe and supervised environment. This hands-on experience is sure to spark curiosity and create lasting memories.
Date and Time : Hands on Nixa will take place on Friday, April 10, 2026. 5 - 7 PM
The first 30 minutes of the event will be sensory friendly.
Admission: This event is free of charge.
However, we ask that everyone bring one non-perishable item or canned good per person to donate to our food drive for Christian County Food Pantry Least of These, Inc.
Location: The X Center parking lot, 701 N Taylor Way, Nixa, MO 65714
Event will be held in the the back parking lot of the X Center.
Food/concessions are available.
Children see vehicles up close and meet the people behind the wheels.

Hands On Nixa is a service learning project brought to you by the cadets of Nixa High School JROTC in partnership with Nixa Parks and Recreation.
