Each October, Nixa High School conducts a school-wide community service project of giving back to the city of Nixa. Several different events are organized and students have the choice of selecting which event they would like to participate in. Nixa JROTC has a 1-mile Adopt-A-Highway that we clean up four times a year. We use the Dare To Care day as one of those cleanup days to help support this annual event. Additionally, we also clean up areas around the High School and also Matthews Elementary.
