Nixa High School students interested in a career in education can take a class that allows them to visit classrooms across the district and learn firsthand about teaching. The Teaching Academy helps kids gain a better understanding of the education field and explore whether it's a career they may want to pursue before heading to college.

Our elementary and intermediate schools offer parent-teacher conferences in the fall to discuss their students' progress. In the springtime, our schools hold a showcase event where parents can come in and see examples of their children’s work, such as art projects, and spend time in their classroom. At Summit and Inman, they incorporate those activities while welcoming incoming 4th graders and their parents. Inman Intermediate's "Route to Inman" is a fun, low-stress event for families.
