Students in Kelly Field's class are working on a project at Inman to replace some older sheds with much sturdier buildings. The kids are doing everything from measuring to cutting and everything in between. Some of the other skills they are learning in class include concrete, plumbing, and electrical.

When school-aged children are ready to enter kindergarten, they are invited with their families to visit their new school. The kids run through some basic tests to see how well they compare to their peers. It also gives the building principals a chance to introduce themselves and leave families with a positive impression of our district.

Students around the district showed off their cooking chops at the 13th Culinary World Showcase. This year's cultural theme was China. The goal of the competition is to inspire students to explore, appreciate, and learn about global food cultures, acquire valuable lifetime culinary skills, encourage fun cooking with friends and family, and develop new ways to enjoy healthful flavor.
